"As a recent graduate student, it's nice to see that some of the art departments are growing. Albeit, slowly, they're growing. Unfortunately, though, I very rarely felt that the staff acknowledged me as an "actual human being" and often faced a lot of ridicule from the secretarial staff. The divide between teachers was astounding, some being the sort who let you get away with anything and never teach you anything and others being the sort who are highly intellectual and dedicated to their students. The lunch staff is very friendly as long as you're polite (which you ought to be), but unfortunately the quality of food they're provided to cook with is not that great. They are linked into a foreign exchange student program, but that's about it as far as diversity is concerned. Like many high schools, they jilt the arts and extracurricular academic/FPS teams in favor of athletic funding. Their supervision and anti-bullying is a joke, to be honest. Overall, a decent, popular school."

"Being a Golden Eagle has been the most exciting time of my life. The teaching staff are great and will help you with anything they can. The sports programs are top notch, and the community really rallies around the eagles."

"Overall it was pretty average. The academics wasn't the best but there were some really good classes that prepared me for college. The student body is mixed, mainly because it's a rural town and many people had the same viewpoint."

"I had a good freshman year at Johnson Central and an awful sophomore year. I went to a different school my junior year and part of my senior year. I came back to Johnson Central my senior year."
