"WMS has to be one of the worse school in a 25 mi. area. my granddaughter is in 7 th grade and when her mother asked to see a teacher after school she was told to make a appointment when they are on their break. She asked to meet with the teacher at 3:00 but the teacher said she had to come on his break peroid I am in cherry hill and work for the school system and from what I hear this school and teacher are rated 3 on the scale of 1 to 10. The bullying that goes on in the school is a joke, the no bullying.... when you wear your shirt about no bullying you get bullied even more . The policy is a joke also."

"My 7th grader has had a great experience at WMS. We have never had any problems with the teachers and we are very pleased with the education she has received. I feel for parents that have had problems but our experience has been very good. All our 3 kids (fortunately) get good grades and don't have discipline problems. Last year our daughters afternoon bus was very late to pick kids up at school. Some of those kids walked home and were later disciplined for it. I always wondered why there was no school supervision for those kids. What if the bus never came? Who would have known? There should have been guidance for those kids to stay put and to call the bus company to find out where their bus was, not discipline for the kids for walking home. Nobody was right, but I believe the school failed to watch over those kids."

"I totally agree with these reviews. The elementary schools are wonderful. The middle school, well thats another story. My son has a learning disability and as stated there is little time or tollerance for him. There is little respect for him or myself as a parent. Discipline is not consistant what applies once may not apply a second time. All they care about is the ASK scores and its clear from the first day of school that ASK scores are the first priority. Any problems that arise must be figured out by the parent because administration couldn't care less about you or your child. Every year there has been a different struggle for my son. Thank God this is his last year there and I have not yet decided if my 3rd grader will go there or to a private school. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone"

"Class size way too large. I don't know why the district can't hire more teachers to reduce class size."

"As a parent, I want my child to be challenged. I am not convinced that this is a priority at WMS. She comes home regularly without homework from all of her classes except one. The emphasis on the test scores for the ASK is excessive. The test is driving the curriculum and many of the students suffer because of it. My daughter who is somewhat passive is regularly bullied by students. They can do MUCH better."
