"My daugther recently graduated from fifty nine elementary school this 2008. Her teacher Ms. Rollins, the principal and the other fifth grade teachers shows a lot of professionalism, take good care of the children and have a commitment beyond their responsabilities. My daughter went from a 1's and 2's to 3's and 4's. They are improving the academic system."

"Fifty-Ninth Street School is spectacular! My daughters (Tessalyn & Tahlia Sutton) had a wonderful experience during their 2nd/ 3rd, and 5th grade year. Their classrooms experiences added to their abilities. They have gone on to 'Gifted/High Ability' classes at other institutions of learning. The principal has a passion for parent involvement and student ownership. Mrs. Fugita and her staff are great."

"Fifty-Ninth Street School is an awesome school. My son is a special needs student who receives excellent services and support from his teacher as well as the office administrators. The school principal (Mrs. Carol Fugita) is to be commended for her administrative leadership and academic guidance. As a special needs parent and advocate I believe it is essential to receive support from the school principal. Without the support from his teacher (Mrs. Benita Spector), her aide (Mrs. Silvia Gonzales), his behaviorist (Octavia Azpeitia), my son would not have been able to academically & developmentally function in a school setting. These ladies are the best of the best!! Upon visiting my son's school I always feel welcome by the staff especially the wonderful ladies in the front office. Unlike other schools in the district Fifty-Ninth Street School always presents a clean & safe environment. Any parent who is looking to place their child in an appropriate educational setting should definitely consider Fifty-Ninth Street Elementary School."
