    "My wife and I are now watching our 4th child go through the Hubbard Woods system. I can honestly say that I simply could not ask for anything more from a school. It is a warm and nurturing environment, the teachers and staff will do absolutely anything they can to help in anyway and our kids love it. Importantly, three of our children have since moved on to middle school and it is evident that they are well prepared. All are excelling which gives me absolute confidence that Hubbard Woods appropriately prepared them."

    "I am grateful everyday for what Hubbard Woods has given my family. We have two daughters who have each spent k-4th at Hubbard Woods. Not a day went by that my children didn't love going to school. Our kids suffered a family tragedy during a year at Hubbard Woods. All I can say is "Thank God for the people at that school." We couldn't have gotten through it without them. Maureeen Cheever and all the teachers go above and beyond to make sure the children are loved, nurtured and most of all prepared for their journey ahead."

    "We have been at Hubbard Woods for twelve years and have three left to go. It has been such a wonderful, nurturing place for our four children. Each and every day our children have looked forward to going to school...which says a lot. Dr. Cheever and the teachers at HW do their best to not only teach our children academics but to also prepare them for a life well lived. They have learned lessons far beyond just preparing for a "test". They have learned how to work with others, how to give to under resourced communities, how to respect those around them and in the world. It is a wonderful neighborhood school with a great staff!!!"

    "Hubbard Woods is an outstanding elementary school that feels like a family to students, teachers and parents. Dr. Cheever is an inspiring leader who gives her all to her students each day. I feel so fortunate that my children attend this school. Winnetka is a progressive school district -- if you don't like progressive education then don't move here ! If you do, you will LOVE Hubbard Woods."

    "Look at your school's test scores people. This is one of the best elementary schools in the country. It provides my kids with a balance of social-emotional and academic offerings. The Principal trusts her staff because they are the most highly talented around. When Dr. Cheever receives 450 resumes for a single job posting, you know it is a place where teachers love to teach OUR children and can make choices on what is right for their individual needs. My advice to all who question this school is to open your eyes and take a look around at the nearby districts. What school do you know has a TV Studio and broadcasts a show in a K-4 setting? Technology-Language Arts-Self-Esteem- Public Speaking- Leadership. I am happy to be finishing out a great tenure at HWS and will miss this dedicated staff."
