"I honestly love my school, its fun and i've met a lot of great people there that I now class my best friends. Yes, there are a couple of teachers who can't teach and make our lives hell with amount of homework given but we try our best to push through."

"We have the best school chest any high school could ever have: Dance Marathon. Our district students choose a different charity to raise money and awareness for every year. The student body come together from both Niles West and Niles North to support a common cause."

"Most of the teachers are incredibly enjoyable and really know what they're talking about, especially in the AP and honors classes. However, its unavoidable to have a few bad teachers that seem to not want to be there or a substitute that demeans the students. They are rare, but they are there."

"At my school teachers go out of there way to make sure that every student understands what is being taught. They stay after school and for most teachers they come in before school. Especially during finals were they make available study groups for each subject. For our math department they believe that the school grading scale is unfair and many math teachers go by a MATH scale rather than an ABCDF scale.M(Mastering),A(approaching),T(needs more teaching),H(Go in for help). This scale gives student more of an opportunity to receive a high grade rather than making it more easier for a student to fail. Showing that they really understand their students struggles, and actually help them improve there grade rather than giving a student a D and move on, not really letting the student understand what had been taught."

"I enjoy a bunch of my teachers and I feel that they allow us to ourselves and learn the way we need to, some of my teachers are very open to our ideas. When something big happens on the news or school, it is usually brought up in class and discussed."
