"Well, I am torn grades K-4 are WONDERFUL! Teachers are great, welcoming, inviting, and want your kids to succeed! They are willing to go the extra mile to help them too! Then you hit 5th grade...one teacher should really just retire! I have had 2 children go thru her class and it was a nightmare for both of them! As a parent it is a loosing battle if you even attempt to address an acadmeic concern. My children thrived in all of the other classes and struggled in this one teachers class. I provided my own at home instruction to ensure they didn't miss any key skills. As far as administration, I am sure it was difficult to fill the previous principal's shoes, he was loved by all parents, students, and staff! I never had any issues with the administration or bullying. The once well oiled machine that ran like clock work is in need of some love. I sure hope the staff and administration can find it again and bring Brigham back! Go Brigham Bears!"

"This used to be the best school in Winter Haven. Notice there has been no update in the last few years. Teachers are awesome up until they hit 5th grade, grading changes every nine weeks. Some teachers are rude to students... Even had one tell my child day one "Don't expect to make straight A's in my class, it won't happen." ( because nothing was taught in her class!! ) Bullying is a huge problem, principal does nothing about it. Not surprised at all that they dropped to a B school. I would recommend Elbert over this school hands down!"

"I agree with the last post, not what this school once was. You can tell teachers are fed up. I used to spend all my extra time as a volunteer at this school for the teachers. Once the new andmin came in it became a very unwelcome environment. I absolutly love most of the teachers , but I agree the 5th grade was terrible. I know exactly what teacher the previous post was referring to. My son will have a hard time in Jr, High in math based on this one year. This was absolutely the worst school year my child has ever had. I would also recommend home based school over this magnet / choice school. Absolutely th worst educational exerie my child has ever had. And the bullying is a huge issue that just gets pushed under the rug far as admin cares."

"Brigham Academy gave our daughter a great foundation for her education. A great principal and staff. If you are lucky enough to get into Brigham, you have enrolled your child in the best elementary school possible anywhere!"

"I can't imagine my daughters attending any other school than Brigham. The best elementary school in the county. Enthusiastic teachers and principal. Definitely one to pick if you have the opportunity."
