"The Teachers at Elkins High School are Wonderful, the are truly dedicated to student. They go above and beyond to make sure us as students understand the topic at hand, they do this by lectures, projects and activities. There have been many time that I have need extra time on an assignment or help, and the teachers were able to do so. the only thing that I have to complain about is that the the technology we have is slow or outdated."

"Elkins Public Schools are a small, hometown, friendly environment where I have felt safe ever since I've went there. I started school in 2005 at Elkins Primary School, and I plan to graduate in 2018 from Elkins High School. Our school has fun events that allow us to get out of class & participate. We have pep rallies, bmx shows, float contests, etc. In spring we always have this thing called Herd Wars, which is competition games between each grade 9-12. We call it Herd Wars because we are the Elks, so we are a herd. At football games, we have a student section called "The Herd." We are the loudest, most school spirited, group in the stands. In Fall, we always have an event called PowderPuff Football, where the girls from each grade get to play flag football for a night on the football field. Overall, we have a lot of events, dances, bonfires, games, etc. Although I do not like school, Elkins is probably one of the best, unique, safe, schools in Northwest Arkansas. I would choose this school again, & someday I will have my children attend this school."

"Some teachers are better than others. The science teachers do not explain at all. The math teachers are all really helpful. History is good. English is good. I just feel like a lot of the teachers expect us to do everything on our own. They don't teach. We have to teach ourselves from books, computers, powerpoints, etc. I guess that is part of common core. Most of the teachers are nice, but some are hard to get along with. Especially the science teachers."
