"I believe that Lower Merion HS is a great school and they are good at making use of their funding, however, I did not feel making the athletic fields into parking lots was a good use of space and perhaps a small parking garage over the already existing parking lot would have been a better solution. I felt my education was very good and I always had quality text books and access to computers. Now being in the "real world" I would have like to see more emphasis on work place education such as EQ learning for inter-office communication and check book balancing but I believe this to be a systematic issue and not the schools issue."

"As an alumnus of Lower Merion, I can attest to the excellence of my education at this fine public high school. To this day I thank my English teachers for teaching me how to think critically and write. My classmates were incredibly bright. Yes, the experience was competitive, but I was very well-prepared for college. I also enjoyed the after-school activities, such as the Lower Merion Players, where I made many great friends. All in all, a terrific school."

"LM is a fabulous school. The curriculum is varied, with an emphasis not only on excellent academic subjects, but on the arts as well. The new building is a phenomenal space with two theaters, an art studio with sophisticated ceramic equipment, an acoustically sound music classroom, as well as auditorium, and amazing gym facilities. Even the cafeteria is state of the art. The sports offerings are varied as well. The school's guidance counselors are very involved in the student's education, and they do a great job of helping those with any kind of learning issue. Every aspect of the school is top-notch."

"Incredible experience for my kids. I have a son with special needs and the staff and students created an atmosphere that helped him grow, achieve and mature in ways that inspired everyone. I can't thank Lower Merion enough!!"

"This is a really great school. They have an amazing selection of sports, extracurriculars, and clubs. One of the very few high schools in the country that has a crew team. It's easy to find great friends here, although the stereotype that Lower Merion kids are spoiled and snobby is unfortunately quite true. Of course not ALL the kids are like that, but no doubt if you go to this school you will encounter a good few. The teachers are, like my middle and elementary school (I've been in this district since kindergarten) very mixed; some are amazing, some are great, some are just fine, and others are simply awful But overall, this is a great school, and no matter who you are or where you come from, there's a place for you at LMHS."
