"I am a parent of a student at School 17. I think the teachers are great as well as the principal. My only concern is the safety. When you are buzzed in, you do not have to say who you are or why you are there. You just ring the bell and get buzzed in. There is noone once you walk in to ask who you are or your reason for being there. That doesnt make me feel safe knowing that any random person could walk in and go where they please. At any school I went to you had to sign in at the security desk and someone would get the child for you as long as you were on their contact card or if the parent called in advance to give permission for that person to pick the child up."

"I LOVE School 17 my daughter has attented there since PreK and the teachers are definately top noch! Mrs. Morehead is one of the best pricipals I have ever met! She knows all of her students by name and their parents! I never have to worry that my daughter would get lost in the school for ALL the teachers know who she is and greets her and I with smiles!"

"School 17 is a great school. The teachers are very professional and very dedicated to the students. I would reccomend school 17 for everone. We love our great principal Mrs Moorehead too:) We as parents should feel so lucky to have such a dedicated professional as our building leader."
