"Great educational staff. Drug free programs and safe driver programs are very beneficial. A great football team. Sports, Arts, Music, and Honor classes are all provided and with excellent teachers in all fields. I am proud to have my child enrolled at Plano High School."

"Plano High School had a canine search done on Mar 17, 2009 and it was completely clean of illegal substances. That is hugh in my book. My kids also tell me they have not witnessed or heard of any violence of any kind. The teachers are easy to contact and work with if there are any concerns or issues that need to be addressed. My kids are getting terrific grades and the work level is higher than what was taught when I was in high school. The community supports the school very well including voting for and funding 2 new wings of classrooms and a top of the line performing arts auditorium. The football team has been State Champions multiple times in the past few years. I am not a big sports fan but it's hard not to notice that kind of achievement. I am very happy with Plano HS & the district."

"I am a parent who has had three kids in Plano High School one who is still attending. I have considered putting my kids in private school but it's just not an option. The reason I say this is because through my observations and the stories I heard from my kids Plano High School isn't the ideal rural High School environment it comes off to be. Currently there is a new extention that has doubled the size of the school, you would think with a new school every thing should be highly improved, not saying it hasn't made many improvements. My youngest comes home complaining to me almost every day the school is freezing cold, the old part of the school is to cold the new part to hot sometimes he comes home from school SNEEZING how can a child who just spent there whole day in doors be sneezing?"

"Plano High School has made many improvements since it opened its' new building. An expanding curriculum, new initiatives that help raise expectations, and a focus on school improvement have help build a great atmosphere. My student loves going to school and his friends agree. Great young teachers"

"Since the addition of the new subdivision in town that has taken over the town, there has been a decline of the overall quality of the schools in Plano. It would seem that the newest students are rough, brazen, and out of control. Huge lack of respect to teachers and other students and a lack of dicipline. Also the gang activity has increased a thousand fold. Can't wait to move."
