"My overall experience could simply be described as "fine". Our school is very small and in a rural part of Louisiana. There is, however, a wide range of students. Most students can find others with similar interests, so that is a favorable side to our school. Also, I have never witnessed major bullying in my four years of high school. However there was one instance where I, personally, was bullied in front of my whole class about my appearance, but the teacher was oblivious so the boy was simply told to apologize. That is one thing I have always disliked about my school; some teachers care deeply for their students while others could not care less. In the end I would not want to go to my school if I had to do it all over. Mostly because it is so small that everyone constantly knows everyone else's business, rather than learning and focusing on assignments."

"I personally have a very different schedule from most students at my school, so based on my experience, the workload can become difficult. I only take 4 classes this year, and of those, 3 are college duel-enrollment classes. So I suppose it is to be expected that they would be challenging, but along with extracurricular activities and work, my final year of high school is proving to be challenging. The teachers are very helpful and understanding of conflicts with deadlines if there are conflicting activities, which all students appreciate. It would be beneficial to the majority of students at our school if we were allowed to bring personal computers and were given a study period during the day. We currently do not have either option available and neither will be available for a long time."

"Our academics are pretty good at our school. We recently became an "A" school and now the faculty and staff is pushing us to maintain that grade. The homework we have each night is plentiful and sometimes ridiculous. Overall, the academics are pretty tough."

"Although my school lacks different classes for different hobbies and talents, it's over all a pretty good school."

"Of course, like most other schools, there are cliques. The students are really involved in much at my school."
