"I have 2 children currently at Mustang High School. There are some excellent teachers (esp. within the AP program). The administration, however, is immature and ineffective. They are also completely disconnected from the majority of the student body. My experience has been that they are NOT in it to do what's best for students, but instead care more about outward appearances - accurate or not. Sadly, I have seen a decline in the climate and quality of the school since the new administration took over."

"I'm impressed so far. They are just doing enough to let them graduate."

"I've had two children graduate from MHS. The college prep (AP) program is excellent with gifted instructors that care and kids that want to learn. As expected, the results are very good. For the non preparatory classes, more like the warehousing associated with inner cities. As a result, very high high school dropout rates. I tried to be involved with the teachers, but received great deal of resistance from the school In fact, had one teacher who would not discuss my child's progress/activity until he signed a release form. I was not impressed with the administration."
