You can make a game of helping your kids get to know their new neighborhood and
community around the new house or new apartment. Print out this Bingo-board
moving scavenger hunt to enjoy with your children. It's easy to take along on
short walks or when driving around. Remember to bring a pencil or non-toxic
marker with you.
Feel free to bend the rules on a traditional scavenger hunt. You don't have to
make all 16 discoveries in the same day. Spread out the fun, especially for
your youngest ones.
When you've completed this moving scavenger hunt, challenge your family
detectives to create their own Bingo-board scavenger hunts. They fill in the
boxes with clues to their own discoveries about your new house or new
apartment, backyard or city block.
