School districts in Cucamonga include Cucamonga School District and Central School District. Some schools in the CSD also serve Ontario, California.
Residents in Southern Cucamonga are zoned to Chaffey High School in Ontario as residents in Northern Cucamonga are zoned to Alta Loma High School.

Cucamonga has the highest crime rate out of the Etiwanda and Alta Loma districts, primarily due to the city's large Latino population, more gangs have roots in the city which date back to the 1970s. Many residents do not want district names because of this problem being with lower/high crime rate in Cucamonga and Alta Loma.
