Semi-Custom Home

A semi-custom home allows buyers to customize only certain aspects of the home. For example, buyers cannot change the structural plan of a semi-custom home. However, they do have the flexibility of changing various designs within the home. A typical redesign of a semi-custom home include changing the color scheme. This may involve customized paint colors that match the buyer's choice of countertops and flooring. Buyers often incorporate several upgrades in a semi-custom home, such as the appliances. Many customers prefer a semi-custom because they are not burdened by the task of designing the layout of the home. Some buyers simply prefer to tailor the indoor living space to their specific liking instead of creating a blueprint of the home's layout on their own. Home builders typically offer both options in many of the new subdivisions.
