Seller reviewI am a realtor licensed in CA and this was a rental property I'd purchased 10 years ago for a family member. For the past 4 1/2 years it had been rented to a stranger who suddenly asked to terminate their lease at what is typically a terrible time of year to sell (December). Jerry went "above and beyond" in quickly getting the property on the market, negotiating with the tenant, checking on the house once it was vacant but not yet closed, and explaining to me how very differently an escrow proceeds in NY vs CA. Great communicator and a super provider of support. I would recommend Jerrold Thompson to anyone who wants to either buy or sell in the East Aurora area.

Jerry offered advice to us regarding the preparation of our home for sale. Jerry is extremely personable and a pleasure to deal with. He went out of his way to offer to handle things for us, as we were out of the area during the listing and showing time period. Buyer reviewJerry was very responsive to emails and text messages, even on the weekends. He also never left us in the dark with any of the details regarding the purchase, and if it was something an ordinary person outside of real estate may not understand fully, he explained it well to the best of his ability. He was also not very forceful towards us during any of the negotiations, for example there was never a moment I felt like he was trying to get us to accept an offer because it was "the best we were going to get" and force us to close the deal. When you meet Jerry, it was very apparent that he has been in this business for awhile. He has very thorough knowledge of the market, the area, and even other realtors within the field. He was always very polite and respectful, which I know was very tough because we did not make it easy on him by looking at over 20+ houses, as well as changing our buying price multiple times. But he never gave up hope and saw it through to the end.
