Richard LaPorte worked to his fullest capabilities to help me get to where i needed to be mentally and help me understand as a young first time home buyer everything involved from both me (buyer) and the seller. Richard was always willing to answer any questions i had quick and was always helpful. He helped me with both pros and cons of each house we looked at to decide what was best for ME for the present as well as my future. Richard was not my first realtor i had worked with, but he should have been. Everything went quick and easy with no complications. I would recommend Richard LaPorte to first, second or any type of home buyer. He always made sure i was understanding in what was happening at every step of buying.

Rich did an amazing job. Wasn't pushy like a lot of salesmen and he let us check out the house without him hounding us. He went above and beyond expectations. Real honest guy and will work as hard as he has to, to make sure the deal goes as smooth as possible.

In this whole house process I have dealt with a couple different agencies and would absolutely recommend Rich and this century 21 team to anyone looking for property in the Kalamazoo area.

Rich went above & beyond the day of the closing. My special needs daughter knew I had to sign papers to sell our house that day and kept asking if she had to sign papers too. I text Rich asking if he could print up a "dummy" form for her to sign and his response was "on it". He did so much more than print a form! He actually typed a letter about her making memories at the house but that it was ok to sell because she knew the new owner would make good memories too; she will miss living near Grandma Grandpa but can still visit them, and that she will be good for her mom & grow up to be a strong woman like her mother. She signed that letter and when we were all done, he gave it to her as her copy along with his business card. That single letter meant more to my daughter and myself than any of the "real" selling work he did. He showed good character as well as professionalism. I was already living out of state when the house went on the market so Rich worked with me by email, text, and phone calls. He kept me informed of all showings and input from those that gave any on the house. He made it easy for me to handle as much as possible from another state; even offering to make arrangements for me to do closing without having to go back to Michigan if I couldn't or didn't want to.
