Born to hearing impaired parents in Elko, Nevada, Delmo is active and committed to his family and community where he regularly shares his God given talents of singing. He has been married to his wife Annie since 1988. They have been blessed with three wonderful children Michael, Emily and Elizabeth and four grandchildren who have all been born, raised and educated in Elko County. After nearly 31-years of "working thought the ranks", Delmo retired as the Assistant City Manager from the City of Elko on December 5, 2014, to assume the role as elected County Commissioner. Currently serving his 2nd term, he also is a licensed Realtor with Licensure in the State of Nevada. Delmo has spent his life trying to give back, a fan of volunteerism, he serves on several local boards, he is a member of the Elko Host Lions Club, and Knights of Columbus. Delmo credits his life experiences, involvement in theater and the Choarliers as the foundational tools that cultivated his talent, passion and drive.

Seller reviewI was selling a house in Elko as successor trustee and I live in Sonoma County CA. Delmo was chosen to sell the house by the owner prior to his death. Because of his knowledge, personality, and experience, Delmo relieved me of any anxiety I had about this transaction. Even though we were several hundred miles apart, Delmo explained that we, him, myself, and a lady that was taking care of the estate sale, were a team. He and I evolved onto co-captains and developed a working relationship that was open, candid, and free from conflict. He explained in detail every step of the process and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Delmo was a joy to work with in this transaction and his professionalism and hard work are to be commended. I would recommend his services to anyone without hesitation.
