Hello! My name is Grant and I have an awesome wife, Jennifer, and two boys, Austin and Cooper. Born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina, I love the location of where we are; just a couple of hours from the best of both worlds, the beach and the mountains! I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps and got to see the world a little bit. During my time in the Marines I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and Finance. I have been a part of the Finance world for 10 years and have enjoyed everything I have learned from it. I love to fix up houses and watch them transform back to life for a new owner. That is what got me into real estate. Knowing the value of a home and understanding where the demand is really drives me to want to help more people realize this. I have a passion to help others and work hard to find that perfect place. My number one goal is to ensure that you never settle. Truly we had Divine intervention that brought us to choose Grant McDowell to be our agent. We chose him and since he represented Century 21 that brought us to them. When checking Zillow looking for a home for our upcoming move, we saw a property listed that we wanted to have more information about. The agent that contacted us was not a Century 21 agent. Our first meeting ended up being not satisfactory for us as she pushed us to see what we later found to be her listening even though it wasn't something that would fit us. I decided to look up the listing agent for the property I wanted to see which ended up being Mr. McDowell. I called him directly and even though the property I wanted to see was already under contract, he professionalism, sincerity, and patience while talking with me was very impressive. He did not push his services on me in anyway upon our first conversation, but simply sent me a follow up text that offered his assistance in anyway. My husband and I realized that he was a young man that was willing to work hard and cares about what he does to help others find a home. Through our house hunting adventure Grant McDowell's character continued to shine through. Although we knew he had many other responsibilities, he always made us feel that helping us was tremendously important to him. I am not sure how many homes we saw and there were days that we were discouraged, but Grant never waivered in his certainty that we would find the right home. Many times we would get an encouraging message from him that we needed to hear. He was always honest with us, even when it may have lost him time and money and that quality is rare to find these days! He represented Century 21 with genuine diligence in all he did! You are a blessed company to have such a representative!
