She has lived in WNY for the past twenty eight (28) years, is a licensed Associate Broker and has worked extensively in the Niagara and Orleans counties and in the Buffalo Metropolitan area selling primarily single and multi-family homes to assist her clients and customers in realizing their home ownership dreams.
With over thirty (30) years combined experience in sales, finance, teaching and personal income tax, Josephine's extensive, and varied experiences has given her a comprehensive and unique understanding into the relationship between home ownership and its benefits to families and communities as whole. Josephine is passionate about sales and entrepreneurship. Her love dates back to her childhood where she generated her own income by developing cottage industries. She attended the University of the Virgin Island (UVI) College at St. Croix where she pursued a degree in Elementary Education. She went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science, as well as a Bachelors of Art at The College at Brockport, State University of New York, and pursued graduate level studies in American Studies and Women Studies at The University at Buffalo. She earned certificates in related fields that impacts the real estate transaction, and is informed about mandates that affect the purchase and management of real estate.
Josephine strongly believes that home ownership strengthens families by increasing their sustainability, providing social benefits, and stabilizing neighborhoods. Having lived and worked in the communities she serves, Josephine knows that the first step to a stable, more vibrant community is to be vested in that community.
Her upbringing and heritage helps empower her to do so. Josephine has worked extensively with the migrant population in Buffalo, and serves as a board member at HEAL International Inc. (a nonprofit organization that serves new refugees in Buffalo). Josephine is of Caribbean descent with mixed ancestry, which has empowered her to aid those with similar roots, and unique challenges, realize their dreams of home ownership. Like the patchwork nature of her ancestry, she spent her childhood, and early adulthood in various Caribbean islands including St. Croix U.S.V.I., where she worked in sales and in the banking industry. Her experiences with a cultural diverse population integrated with her professional development have equipped her with a cultural sensitivity crucial to serving a diversified landscape of home buyers and sellers.
