My wife and I were first time home buyers. We absolutely didn't have a clue about the whole process except that we wanted a house which we can call our own. I remember when we went to meet Kathy for the first time, we had no clue where to start or what to look for in a house. Talking to her was so easy as if we were talking to a friend we knew for a long time. She guided us through the whole process, cleared up a lot of misinformation we had, explained the pros and the cons and much more. Soon enough we went on our first round of looking at the listing or as Kathy calls it – playdate. It was amazing to see how quickly she was able to read what I like and what my wife likes and what we both would love. Eventually we found the house we absolutely adored and I say this with full conviction that if it wasn't for Kathy then we wouldn't have been able CLOSE on our first home. She is an absolute champion of an agent who just gets it done.

She was so approachable and easily reachable during the whole process. I not only appreciate the patience she had to walk us through the entire process at our own pace but also all the guidance she provided us at each and every step. I reached out to Kathy Colville, whom I worked with in 2006 and she found this home for me which was perfect for me at the time. She was just as friendly and accommodating then as now. I also worked with Redfin and ultimately decided that I trusted Kathy and her team more because they had multiple sales in my neighborhood (Countryside).

Kathy and team did a great job working with my tenant to schedule pictures and the 3D tour, home inspection and verifying that everything was confirmed with the buyers and seller. She is even helping me get rid of the sectional that is in the basement.

Lastly, Kathy and team got me over asking price so I think that should definitely be considered a success story!

Kathy Colville took the time to sit down with me and hear the rather involved back story as to why I needed to sell. She thoroughly explained what would likely happen under different scenarios and helped me understand how the system works. When I made up my mind on what I wanted to do, she acted quickly to make it happen, explaining each step we needed to take and making sure it was done properly. When I received some confusing information from my mortgage company she quickly contacted them to find out what they needed and why. She found that the company did not coordinate well internally and some of the communications I was getting from them were not appropriate to my case and I could ignore them. She continued to keep in close communication with me to advise me what was going on with the sale and to find out if I needed any assistance from her office in getting the house ready, in moving things out and in checking with the buyer's representative to see if he wanted any furniture items I was still needing to be rid of. This led to my being able to leave several pieces of furniture and storage cabinets for the new owner, who was grateful to get them. Kathy went with me to the closing signing and made sure all went as it should. And finally, she informed me that following the buyer's closing signing, I would be getting a relocation assistance check in the amount of $1500 which I was not expecting. Her office followed up on this and I did receive the check and it has helped me very much.

Actually sold my house. I had to change my realtor because he wasn't doing anything in the way of bringing in buyers and was planning on going on vacation for the winter. I need to sell fast and I needed someone great. I saw the signs in a neighbors yard and was amazed about how much advertising was being done for an open house and I walked in and said sign me up to Brandon Patrick who acted as my agent. He was awesome. He and Kathy gave me a sales pitch with backup proof and made me feel like they could actually sell my house in a hurry and based their estimates on their outstanding history. They were pretty close to their guess, the buyers took their time but they did it! The best!

Kathy Colville is an exceptional broker. She and her staff were available to answer any questions we had almost immediately in all cases. Kathy sat down with us and we came up with a plan to sell the house in a way that would maximize the final sales price. This did mean we spent money to upgrade some aspects of the house. But this paid us back by getting us a much higher price for the house as well as decreasing the time the property sat on the market significantly. The contractor Kathy set up for us was professional and took care of any little issues that cropped up. Work was also completed on schedule and within budget. Kathy was friendly and helpful in many ways. I liked that she didn't tell us to drop our price after a month being on the market. She came over and helped me paint my basement and even bought the paint! I really appreciated that!

I felt like she did all she could do to sell our house. She told me how to show the house so it will look it's best by de junking and telling me to keep it really clean for the showings. The brochures she did up on our house was beautiful! She had us do an Open House every other week and provided a interior designer to come in to stage the house. She also brought furniture to fill in empty spots to help show the house off at its best.

I would recommend her to my friends and actually have with one friend.
