Katie comes from a Military Family, with her Grandfather being the first to serve and many others following after him & serving now. Katie is VERY familiar with all the ins and outs of the military moving process and guides ALL of her clients through the home buying and selling process very effectively and with extreme efficiency. She has been in the Real Estate business since 2012 and was licensed after finding her niche for selling homes in the surrounding area. Katie displays tons of dedication to her clients, serving them with diligence, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for excellence. Her commitment to industry knowledge and service is how she builds her referral based business. Katie graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2014, with a B.S.B.A in Marketing and Advertising. She started her own Advertising company, Apex Marketing & Advertising. Now her company is used to reach a broader market and has proven to sell her clients homes FAST!!! Katie gives back to her community by heading a volunteer group at the Union Mission Ministries in Norfolk, VA once a month. She also volunteers for Equi- Kids and is the Vice- Chair for the Resale Council at the Hampton Roads Realtor Association. She attends Thayla Lynn Baptist and Grace Bible Church weekly. Katie has handled numerous property purchases for us in the past, however, none as crazy as this one. We were interested in a property listed on an auction website. After multiple unsuccessful bids where the seller did not accept any offers, Katie was able to get them to accept our offer. She was diligent in monitoring the bid cycles, and then in working with out of state processors working for the seller. IF YOU ARE NOT USING KATIE BURKE AS YOUR REALTOR: STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING ASAP!

Opening lines should speak for themselves. And clearly if you are not using Katie Burke as your realtor then you are not doing it right from the beginning. This is my second time using Katie for both buying and selling. And as always; I am 110% satisfied. Even when a previous buyer backed out of my home and I had already put in an offer on my new home; she had 4 different buyers ready to put in new offers on my home. The biggest part of this was that this was all done during a global epidemic and while I was underway at sea on a ship and emailing her from my desk. I have 110% FULL confidence in her and there is no better realtor out there. There is a reason why she is the top seller in the area. Trust me: look no further. Katie sold this property twice - the first buyer's lender withdrew their loan approval the week before closing due to tightening of requirements. She immediately put the home back on the market, contacted all previous agents who had shown the home and had the home sold again within 2 days for $5000 more than the first "sale". Exceptional sales effort! She handled all of the transaction details with attention to detail and brought us through a very smooth closing. I can't say enough about how exceptional Katie is with getting the highest price possible for her clients and expertly navigating you through an occasional rocky patch with minimal grief.
