Personal Profile

Cameron Shosh moved to Washington, DC, to attend college at American University and, but for a short hiatus in the late 1990s and early 2000s, his heart never left. He arrived with delusions of political intrigue, but, ultimately, realized that the sale of properties resulting, in part, from Pierre Charles L'Enfant's original vision for a grand federal city offered comparable, if not equal, gratification to the Shakespearean theater of Congress. Offering a range of real-estate experience, Cameron provides impeccable service to first-time buyers, veteran home owners, and single-family and small multi-unit investors. His motto: "Providing service to a standard, not just a sale." Although "service" and "standards" could be misconstrued as a luddite admitting unfamiliarity with technology, Cameron fully embraces innovations in digital marketing. Personal, in Cameron's parlance, comes not just from human contact, but also from connections made via social media and other online environments. In Cameron's world, people are key, regardless of how they connect with listings. Cameron's 17 years as an agent enable him to easily navigate Washington, DC's, ever changing real estate market. Need help with creative financing? Check. Looking for professional contractors and inspectors? No problem. Seeking a better understanding of DCRA and DC TOPA regulations? He's got you covered. Satisfied customers agree. "We felt like we were armed with a wealth of information thanks to Cameron's help," J + K said. "After a few weekends of looking at houses with Cameron, it came up in conversation that he has a background in the hospitality industry-and it shows! He was unfailingly upbeat, helpful, and encouraging throughout what was at times a frustrating rollercoaster ride of emotion for us. " Asked why he has stayed in the nation's capital for more than two decades, Cameron said, "I love DC because it feels like a small town wrapped up in a big city."

When we decided to move from Washington DC, we chose Cameron to help us sell our home (that he previously helped us purchase several years ago). He knows what he is doing. He had a good marketing plan and suggested a list price that resulted in multiple offers (and a final offer that we were more than pleased with). Cameron knows DC, is trustworthy, and communicates well. We're happy that we chose him to sell our home over other agents/agencies that we considered.

Cameral did a great job identifying potential properties based on my needs and style. When it came to negotiating the property I was set on, he worked hard to keep it within my budget. I love my new place, so I don't expect I'll ned his help again soon, but when I do, he will be my agent!
  • Seller review
Cameron Shosh has his finger on the pulse of the market in DC's neighborhoods and he understands the complexities and variables of selling 100 year-old housing stock. He did a fantastic job helping us work through the tough decision to sell our rowhouse in Columbia Heights, which we did as residents living abroad, under what were surely atypical circumstances. There was never any pressure at all, just information, data and support that was extremely helpful. When we decided to sell, Cameron wasn't at all daunted by the fact that we were so far away and looked after the house prior to sale. He brought a peace of mind and steadiness to the process that we really appreciated. His comps were also especially well-researched and relevant. He's good at both the interpersonal and data side of things. Highly recommended for a DC house sale!
  • Buyer review
I had a very good experience with Cameron when searching for a new home in DC! I'm an architect by profession and let Cameron know in our first conversation that I would be picky and cast a broad net. Undaunted Cameron showed me a wide range of perspective home types, neighborhoods, and range of fixer uppers to move in ready. Over a 7 month search Cameron never lost patience, kept me entertained with a dry sense of humor, and his local knowledge, which is down to the block level, offered invaluable insight to each perspective home we visited. From recommending movers to handy people to finish those final repairs Cameron's extensive network smoothed out what can be a stressful process into a worry free experience. I would recommend Cameron, without reservation, to anyone looking for a new home or selling one in DC.
  • Seller review
Cameron was extremely patient while helping me navigate a complicated market this year. He did not rush me or push me against my instincts to simply rush a sale. He took the time to help me understand the pros and cons of various decisions throughoiut the process.
  • Buyer review
Cameron was a great agent, friendly and available while also being professoinal every step of the way. He supported our decisions and helped find a place that met all of our criteria and walked us through every stop of the process with consideratoin and care.
