"Currently I'm a rising senior at WHS. For me personally, this has been the best time of my life. Undeniably, WHS has tons of opportunities for everyone. From clubs to classes, and as long as you're kind, you will make friends. WHS does have it's faults however. The students and administration do not always have the best communication. As in, it is lacking, especially on the administrations front. Also, sometimes the administration can be tricky with students with different needs than others. I still think WHS is one of the best schools. You get out what you put in here. So come with a positive attitude (even if you have to fake it) and it'll be fine. Between the new student ambassadors, peer mediators, great students and teachers, they'll make sure you're welcomed into WHS."

"A very typical small town high school. The school is very safe, community-oriented and boasts a fairly diverse population. There are lots of after school sports and activities, and most of the teachers are willing to stay after school of you need help. However, the school culture is also very conventional and provincial, so there is a lot of gossip and politicking. Students are not disciplined equally but, rather, according to their, their parents' or the referring teacher's "reputation." Most of the students are average to very smart but nothing spectacular yet most behave like entitled geniuses. People are friendly but not sincere, and they are often suspicious of new comers or any one who doesn't think or act a certain way."

"I was at WHS sophomore year. As someone who had not been there for all of high school or been to middle school with anyone else I knew I can say that it is not an accepting school socially if you are not part of a clique. Everyone is involved in an extremely tightly knit group that is not welcoming of anyone who has not been friends with them for years. The staff and teachers are also disliking of students they did not know for a while. I was forcibly put in lower level classes despite having average grades and then medically withdrawn from two classes for no good reason. Despite the months I was there I have had extremely good grades and a good track record throughout all of high school but because of how they changed my academics I am now possibly not going to graduate on time. The good things I can say about this school is it is a wealthier district and gets good funding. There are computers in every department. If you can access the classes, you can get a top quality education."
