"Northeast Metro Tech gives you a taste of the real world with the many trades you can choose from. Also, you get a great oppurtunity to work on Co-op and expirience your trade hands on."

"I love that Northeast Metro Tech gives you the opportunity to begin the work force early. They teach you how the real world is by having strict rules on attendance and conduct. If it wasn't for this school I wouldn't of obtained the many certifications I now have. I was able to begin earlier and save money compared to others. I would like for there to be more academics days because education is very important especially for college. It'll also aid in students receiving excellent SAT/ACT scores. One last thing is that the school needs to have more resources for students to learn about scholarship opportunities accessible to them."

"What I liked about the school was the requirements needed to get in, i.e. no discipline issues, bad attendance. Etc. The school gives you that "homey, family" feeling upon orientation. I also liked the diversity in the school. What I have grave issues about is the faculty. For one, guidance counselors are extremely inexperienced and terrible with follow up. You speak to them about an issue and there are 6 people involved with such a minor issue. When there is an issue that requires upper level guidance, they don't return calls, especially Dina Barrada. The teaching is "ok" Some classes better than others, but most are very inexperienced. The principal, Dr. Scuzzarella, doesn't follow through in a complete manner on any issue, at least with what I have heard. I have heard that psychologists have tried reaching out to guidance and they don't follow up. Sorry northeast, thumbs down from this parent. My recommendation, hire staff better qualified."

"Northeast is a school that emphasizes academic excellence, teaches tolerance in a socially diverse community, and has a culture all it's own. I am proud to be graduating from and I would highly recommend the school."

"I hated going to this school because they don't have anything in place if bullying happens. Its even worse if you are a minority who is being bullied, they do not care. They do not help students and do not care if your grades drop, they also don't like talking to you unless you are on honor board. Its a trade school, how good can you talk about a trade school? Mrs Driscoll the guidance counselor is not a counselor. She's awful. doesn't help"
