"I liked a lot about Beverly High: the music department is rich and full of vivacious learners, and the English and Creative Writing departments are well staffed and are full of wonderful programs. What I didn't like about Beverly High was the primary focus the school had on athletics. The "jocks" of the school were treated better by the teachers-who were also majority coaches, as well. Jocks were given priority treatment, and the grades of the jocks were all high no matter how little work they did. I believe that this school is wonderful, but I was not happy with the unfairness of this."

"BHS is what you make of it. Pros - alot of clubs to offer, school is modern, some dedicated teachers, laptop lease program, sports, students can take college classes. Excellent IEP/special needs. Parents need to stay on top of their kids (encourage AP and honor classes) bc BHS is rated VERY poorly in preparing kids for college at only 25% rating in US News and World report. We could be talking inner city numbers here. https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/massachusetts/districts/beverly/beverly-high-9280 They sent Seniors home right after lunch time (1/2 days) to save $$$ (which was ridiculous) instead of putting them in a type of internship-like jobs with local business like ManEssex. We had a bad experience with our daughter who was ill-prepared for college along with 4 of her other classmates who dropped out in Fresh year. Advice - stay on top of your student and teachers."

"Beverly High school was a place with a lot of great opportunities, and where students from all different niche's appreciated each other for their own talents. Football players marched in the band, hockey players were in the school musical. The one thing is we did not really have a huge gathering of the student body for athletics games."

"My 4 years been great at this college. I have played 4 years football and as well as wrestling. This school have lot to offer and I am glad that I chose to go to Beverly High. I am currently graduated and studying in North shore Community college. Everything I have learned from Beverly High I would say is helping me in every path. It was great."
