"What I liked was that the school has a vocational program in my major which I am currently in. This will help me to prepare for the major I am in."

"I could of had a better experience in high school if I went to a different high school than Salem High. Salem High and the district do not teach and prepare high school students for college or for the real world after high school. Salem High just focuses on getting students to school and awarding the bad students. It is hard to explain but non of the good hard working students get recognized for anything. During senior years we should be learning how to write a paper and to manage our money for college."

"Salem High School was pretty good if I do say so myself. The teachers always encouraged us to do well and they all had a genuine care for their students. Guidance was always kind of held up with something, but I never made any official appointments, I always just showed up. The food was alright, it did its job, except everyone was always excited for meatball subs. Overall, I would say that this school is a great environment to learn to become independent and grow academically, but adjusting to college after was still a hurdle in itself."

"Salem High school is a very diverse school. It has much more choices then a person may think. I've had the opportunity to make so much friends and branch out into so many different electives that i never would have considered somewhere else."

"Salem High offers a wide-variety of classes. Students are able to explore different subjects and take more than one class for a specific subject to figure out their interests and disinterests. The teachers are also very supportive of the students, making the time to make sure the students succeed. Overall, most impressed with the variety in classes."
