"This school wants athletes and high scholars! They are more concerned about the High School Ranking and looking good in the stats more so than the education the kids receive. Sad because when I went there as a kid, it wasn't like that. They were more concerned about the overall student and helping them achieve their goals. That why I sent my A+ child there."

"Dedham High School focuses on basic academics for college readiness; however, there is no financial literacy course or courses geared toward students looking for careers. The guidance department is on top of the students surrounding college deadlines. I would like the students to have a better variety of courses to select from so they can pursue their interests. This may help them decide what they wish to do in college."

"I've been at Dedham High School since Freshmen year and ever since, it has been a great experience! The people are very friendly and welcoming. The education is great and the teachers never fail to make sure you understand every lesson. Every time I don't understand something, I make sure I tell my teachers and it has never been a problem. Everyday I love waking up knowing I can come to a safe and well respected environment."

"Dedham High School is filled with faculty who really care about their student's success. They offer a variety of clubs and activities for students to participate in. Some examples include Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Gardening Club, Interact Club, Volleyball, Swim and Soccer. Also there's a long list of electives to add to your schedule like Journalism or Graphic Design. The lunches are okay, but nothing special. The guidance office is not above average."

"Dedham High School is a new blossoming high school with renascent academics and extracurriculars. The teachers are dedicated and students can find rigorous academics if they apply and challenge themselves."
