"As a student heavily interested in and involved with the fine arts, I commend Norwood High for its attention to what are referred to as the 4 A's: Academics, Athletics, Arts, and Activities. Everyone is encouraged to get involved with an activity through the school, whether that means trying out for the cheerleading squad, or joining the Environmental Youth Coalition. At Norwood High, there is an incredible value placed upon social interaction and student involvement that I personally believe should be spread to other, less well rounded schools."

"I loved my four years at Norwood high, it is such a close knit community and I wish i never had to leave. It got me extremely prepared for college and I still have great relationships with the staff there, they are still willing to help even after graduation."

"I enjoyed the fulfillment in after school activities and in the arts programs. I think there could be more guidance in the college application process for older students. The general atmosphere of Norwood high is pretty supportive."

"Norwood High School is a public school that offers a variety of courses and class levels ranging from college to AP. What is especially wonderful about the school is the variety of electives students can take. These courses range from psychology and world history to science with biology and anatomy, to technology with engineering and computer science, and all the way to math courses such as statistics. The school has many great teachers who are invested and do their best to help their students in whatever way they can. The only downfall to the school is that prior to 12 grade, students can only choose one elective course. The second downfall is that no AP courses are offered before 11 grade, with the exception of AP United States History 1. The school was built recently, thus all the labs and technology is brand new and up to date. It even has a green initiative with water refilling stations and a compost and recycling bin. Overall the school is good."

"Overall, the teachers at this school are good. I remember that they were all very knowledgeable. Most of the teachers showed an interest in the students and their success. All of the teachers were able to offer after-school time or outside of class time to help with materials. Most of the teachers were good at communicating although there were some times where certain teachers would not always inform the students of when assignments were due or when a test/quiz was."
