"Brockton High school was a joy to go to. Over the past 4 years it taught me that you have to be your own person and you cant make it in this world without focus. I say this because coming from a school with about 5,000 students and staff in it you are bound to find some one like you. The teachers were limited as Brockton high suffered with teachers getting the pink slips (getting fired). It was a must going through budget cuts there was no choice. You need to be focused because when it is a class with about 35 to 45 kids and one teacher, it is hard for the teacher to have a one on one connection with the student. So therefore you have to stay focused. Of course you will slip and once or twice, and that could be the fall for your education career. Teachers are over whelmed in the school and so are the students."

"It's a great school academic wise and there's something for everyone to get involved. Although the food is not always the best I appreciate the diversity here."

"Throughout my 4 years at Brockton High, I honestly enjoyed it there. I was fortunate enough to have great teachers, and meet my lifelong best friends who are like family to me. I was involved in extracurricular activities, which was helpful. The food is terrible, as well as the bathrooms; the overall physical condition on BHS could be improved 100%. Other than that, I do miss it sometimes."

"Brockton High School has to be the most difficult environment to work in; because the school is so huge with thousands of kids. But it has many opportunities for us students lots of clubs and activities and sports that everyone is welcome to participate in. They offer programs/electives that involve your career and that you can learn, some skills before you attend college. Overall Brockton high is the worst place because they do a lot for the students that go here."

"Living in Brockton is not a dream come true. Though, there are many negatives, there are many good things that go in in Brockton; with good people. Sometimes, the good may only one in a handful. I have had the opportunity to create more in the Brockton public Schools, and I have the opportunity the good that comes with being a part of Brockton High School. I have met many teachers who cared for the students than i have ever seen before. They prioritize their students because they know that in a city of nothing, for it to change, was for us to receive our education. At times they will have their downs, and that definitely may set students back. their downfall may just be understanding to be patient with every student, just not select student. I still feel as though Brockton High School has shaped me for this college experience. It can shape every one of their students."
