"I am a new student at Waltham High School and the experience has been very enjoyable. The other students at the school are very friendly and welcoming. Compared to the food I have eaten at other schools, Waltham High definetely has a good variety although there is still plenty of room for improvements. To improve the learning environment, I would suggest giving all students technology so that the benefits can actually be seen because most teachers accommodate the students without technology by not using it, so the iPads are somewhat useless. Also installing an air conditioner would benefit both the faculty and student body."

"Most teachers care about the well being but of students and go above and beyond to see them succeed. The school is very diverse and offers a lot of recourses for all students."

"I enjoyed the time I spent at Waltham High and made friends that I still talk to in college. The environment was very welcoming, and there was never a time where I felt as though I did not fit in."

"This is probably the worst public school. Old building, asbestos, the food..don't even get me started. Bullying happens alot here. The teachers are disrespected. Glad im moving to private school"

"The student population is very big, and the school itself is unfit for the large amount of students. The teachers seem to definitely choose to help those that are already succeeding and leave behind those that are falling back. The guidance councilors seem to help those seniors that have a chance at getting into a college but dont prepare those with a 2.0 GPA or lower and dont put into consideration those who are thinking about community college. They care more about those applying for UMASS Amherst and not those students looking to apply to Massbay Community College"
