"Newton North is a beautiful new high school. It offers incredible electives, sports, clubs and other activities. It is incredibly competitive in all respects, though it offers an in house vocational school. The academics are highly respected and the school prepares students well for college."

"North is more than a dream come true. The teachers are the best: selfless, kind, inspiring, caring and loving. I just don't like how liberal the school is, it gives more power to students than the deserve."

"Beautiful, brand-new, generally clean facilities! There are plenty of opportunities for the students in terms of academics and clubs--many people are surprised to hear that I was able to take engineering and programming classes in high school."

"Newton North High School was a wonderful school. Much to offer to a wide variety of student body. There is a mix of activities and sports - many of which are well known for their accomplishments and successes. If I could change anything about this school it would be for administrators, teachers, coaches, counselors, and parents to come together and commit to minimize stress for students. High academics, competitive sports, and the like result in a student body filled with stress, anxiety, depression and fears. This is perhaps a societal problem, as well but change can and should start here."

"Lately, there has been a lot of bad press surrounding NNHS and hate crimes. When I attended (Class of 2014) I never felt the effects of any of these incidents. The student body could be shifting, but I believe NNHS is an excellent school with a welcoming and accepting community. Despite the attention a few bad eggs have been getting, the administration remains on top of these issues and addresses them appropriately."
