"I liked that 6th school was like a community. The teachers and staff really cared about the students. I was very excited that their track and football field was beautifully redone. It gave the students a sense of pride when they had to play against division 1 schools."

"Shea High School has great potential to output great students, but unfortunately falls a little short. Faculty are very helpful and truly want to help students, however, where the school is lacking is discipline. Rules are bent all too often causing for some unruly behavior that distracts from the student's education. Given it's location as an inner city school though, overall a fairly successful school."

"Charles E. Shea High School was a great experience for me. My four years had come so fast. I made great friends, outstanding administrators, and great memories. Going to Shea High has made me realize how important things are and how hard you have to work for things in life. Something I would like to see change at Shea High School is the environment. The building is very old and being great in sports and becoming a great school you need the look for it. Our school is old and needs to be remodeled. But other than that I enjoyed attending Shea and glad to say that I had fun!"

"The teachers here were really helpful and kind. They will go to the very end just to help you with your problems. There are many teachers that are willing to listen to you if you have anything you want to talk about. Most teachers are cool, many of the students here are not. You will find jerks around the school who have no purpose in going here. Academical-wise this isn't the great place, the quality of education isn't that good because it's low-funded. However, again, you decide how you will utilize resources and oppotunities, not wait for them to come to you. Diversity and school culture is very unique. I am very glad that I attended Shea."

"Shea does the best it can with what it has to work with. In return, the students do the same. Great school pride and the student body, whether they'll admit to or not, act as family. Attended from freshman to senior year. Great experience."
