"I love this school. The teachers are amazing, and are very easy to talk to. But the only thing that should change, is definitely the food."

"I was able to choose where I attend high school and could not have chosen a better school. Teachers allow you to work at your own pace and improve past work which was a portion of learning I will always be thankful for. Fellow students are supportive and motivating. From being able to work on high school measurement topics as a middle schooler, to woking on a senior capstone to further our learning, Hall-Dale has prepared me for our post-secondary education. I have always felt safe and at home at Hall-Dale High School and I am thankful for my experience as a learner here. In college, I will continually look back to what I learned here not only as a student but as a person in society."

"The school is very limited in their funding so classes are also limited. AP chemistry was offered my sophomore year but I didn't meat the pre-requisites, I was told that it would be offered my senior year. Since I want to go into the chemistry field I planned all f my junior classes around the assumption that I could take AP chem my senior year. However when I began signing up for classes this year the school said that they were unable to offer me AP chem and that I would have to take it online, however they did not inform me of this until it was to late to sign up and the waiting list was extremely long and now unfortunately I am not able to take AP chem at all. That is why I would consider not attending this school if I could do it all over again."

"Some teachers go way above and beyond for students while other teachers do not care at all and simply do not grade papers or attempt to teach, or are not flexible with their teaching methods therefor making it extremely hard for some students to learn."

"Hall-Dale is like no other school. Despite its lack of academic greatness, the relationships between students and teachers is like no other school. Coming from a slightly bigger, and more conservative school before this one, I saw just how mean girls can be and how strict teachers can get. The culture at Hall-Dale is very relaxed and geared more towards the students needs than anything else. The students are all friends and no one seems to fall under a specific clique or social status. The relationship the students have with their teachers is on a much more personal level. It is very and I mean very unique compared to other schools. Failing is of no such thing at Hall-Dale (Which uses the 1-4 Student Based Learning grading system) and it has taught me that when I mess up or don't learn something, I am given the chance to try again. I believe that is how all educational systems should work."
