"Lawrence High School is an average high school in central Maine. It is apart of a small community. Most students are happy here but quite a bit of bullying goes on. That is the biggest issue and administration should work to fix it. I am personally glad to have been apart of the many clubs Lawrence offers."

"Lawrence High School is the high school I have no attended for two and a half years. My time at Lawrence has definitely been valuable. Not only are all my teachers attentive and helpful, I have been offered plenty of opportunities to take both AP and college level classes. My school even goes one step farther and allows me the opportunity to take many classes at one of the near by colleges. Besides academics, Lawrence has various varsity level sports (I play soccer along side running track). I also can be involved in many clubs such as NHS, math team, and history club. One thing I would change about my school is the start time. Our school starts at 7:20 which is way too early for a teenage brain to begin processing. There is a rumor going around that our school is thinking about pushing the time an hour back. Now that would make my senior year perfect."

"I like the teachers even though some are very strict but they are just getting us ready for when we are adults. What I would change is put in air conditioning, it is hard to learn when the classrooms are supper hot and the kids attitudes are awful. In general if we had the money I would suggest building a newer school."

"I have really enjoyed my high school experience so far. My school has some amazing teachers who work very hard for their students and are passionate about what they do, which is very inspiring to me. I have formed great bonds with my music teachers, because those are the teachers I am around the most. They have always been supportive of me and have faith in me, which is important to a student. As for what I would like to see change, I would love to add a GSA club to our community. When I was a sophomore, one was going to be created, but it just never got done and it would have been nice to have one. I know some people are just the way they are, but maybe seeing the students a little more open minded and educated about maybe not just classroom things. It might be beneficial to have an assembly or presentation on tolerance and dealing with differences between people. It might encourage students to think before they speak, which does not happen a lot right now."
