"The small school size allows for students to build genuine relationships with teachers; as well as, are able to get more one-on-one time compared to much larger high schools. Oxbow initiated a "help night" while I was a student there. This after school program is essentially a tutoring sessions for students who have a specific grade--or less--and for students who may need assistance with homework/projects/etc."

"The teachers were very hands on and taught well. It was a great environment to learn in but also a great environment for friendship and community."

"Decent, I participated a lot in the athletics program here and I had a very good time. Track and Field was very important to me, probably what I looked forward to the most every year. I think that success in academics is what a student puts into it, it is a decent Vermont public school and if you work hard and try for good grades, it will pay off. I felt as though this school prepared me relatively well for college. I would recommend that students take as many of the AP classes offered as they can because they really do help if one is interested in pursuing a college education."

"Oxbow is pretty small, and for a while had a strong lack of school spirit. Since I have been a freshman, there has been a resurgence in school spirit and a shift in certain programs. Track and Cross country have grown immensely and so have other sporting programs. I think my school also has grown positively in reputation."
