"The faculty are exceptional, the campus extraordinary. I felt that many students didn't take academics seriously and I was looked down upon because I did (and I was a day student). Socially, it is an entirely different world. Don't kid yourself - you are attending a boarding school for extraordinarily rich girls who have never known what it's like to be middle class. These are the top .001% who don't think they are privileged (and thus are). I came from public school and am passionate about music, math, and science. MPS was focused more on art, dance, languages. You will never have the opportunities that you would in a co-ed day school, or the social norms of kids who live with their parents. It was extremely difficult to fit in, especially as a day student. Academics were not too difficult, especially compared to undergrad, though my classmates complained. I was the only one in my class to get in to an Ivy, one of 2 to make National Merit."

"I love it! I have the greatest friends, everyone is really inclusive and friendly, my the classes are challenging but he teachers go out of their way to help. The traditions are great and help the new girls get to know the old girls they're so much fun! In stats the diversity isn't an A+ but they make a huge effort to get everyone involved and educated in everything including racial diversity lgbtq+ and socioeconomic backgrounds"

"I've made the best friends I'll ever have during my time at Porter's. Porter's is my home now, then, and forever. The people here have made me who I am, and have shaped who I will be. My teachers are some of the greatest people I have ever met. They are the ones that have been there for me during my lowest of lows and highest of highs. This school is a blessing choosing to come here is the best choice any girl can ever make...trust me on this."

"I felt very welcomed as an exchange student in the US. My experience at MPS was one of the most valuable experiences I have had in America. I appreciate how MPS opened its doors to foreign students like myself. I truly felt welcomed as a person from another culture by the community there. I hope these exchanges are still happening today especially now as the world needs to work together more than ever before."

"I have grown so much during my four years here from the academic rigor and from the community social environment. I have found many passions and met amazing people. One thing to continue improving is diversity in the student body and faculty. Also something else the administration and so on should be more mindful and adaptive about is gender identity inclusiveness."
