"At Terryville High School, I made life long memories, and life long friends. The teachers were always willing to provide the extra help needed to make sure you succeeded. It is Terryville High School's goal to make sure each student heads into life more than prepared for every problem thrown their way."

"We need more AP courses. There are also many empty spots that could be filled by teachers who are ready to teach these AP classes."

"This school has been key to my development as a person. I've been attending for the entirety of all my three years, and I will be finishing my final year starting this month. All of the teachers have been amazing mentors, helping to guide me in the right direction, and grow into the person I am now. I am proud to say that these wonderful people have become role models for me, as much of the faculty has been. I loved the spirit that would rise up during the pep rallies, and the crazy fun during lunches, class meeting and student council. There was never a moment when a sense of community and closeness wasn't present; even with people you'd never spoken to before there was a welcoming sense that made you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we have had a mass exodus of staff due to budget cuts. While this has detracted from the experience somewhat as I miss them and they cannot be replaced, and the incoming students will never get to know them, we have new teachers that will make their own way and continue the Terryville tradition of making the school great."

"Besides very childish staff and the fact that our old superintendent was arrested for stealing money from the town and spending it at the mall, all of the students were very friendly; if you saw someone sitting alone at lunch you would tell them to come sit with you. Everyone was always there for each other, whether it was being a friend to someone when they were in need of someone to talk to, cheering on our Wrestling State Champion to a win, or gathering in the stands to support the boys basketball team. Our school consisting of 500 kids is what made us so close. Being involved in many sports such as track and field, soccer, and cheerleading, also made my high school feel like a second home. If I could have made one of the janitors closets a mini-bed room, I probably would have."
