"Sayreville War Memorial High School is definitely one of a kind. There is a ton of diversity and people of all different backgrounds come together to meet up and have fun. The school itself is in good condition, with plenty of classrooms, and a nice auditorium where the school holds plenty of presentations, plays, and musicals. One thing I think the school could really improve on is their food. Though, that's probably true for all schools, a lot of students in my town depend on the cafeteria for their midday meal. The food generally looks unappetizing and I have not heard any positive reviews about it. Improving the condition of the food would make the atmosphere of the school much brighter, and I feel it would make everyone's day better."

"Overall the experience was great, but the guidance teachers were no help at all. Students had to do everything for college themselves"

"I had a wonderful time in high school when I went here. It relatively easy to navigate the school. Starting new clubs is also pretty easy. The community is close knit, and teachers are always willing to help."

"The students here are typical teenagers. No student has experienced excessive bullying, but people are only nice to you when they need something. Some of the teachers cannot teach and will make it obvious about who their favorite students are. Pep rallies are boring. SWMHS does not have a volleyball team. If something could be changed at this high school it would have to be the food. The same old sandwiches and pizzas are being sent out everyday in addition to hot lunch, which is usually bland. On the other hand, there are definitely many pros about attending SWMHS. The building is moderately big. Most of the teachers here are willing to help you succeed. Most of the custodians and ladies in the cafeteria are nice people. There are annual senior trips to Disney World. There are two pep rallies, one in the fall and one in the winter. There are junior and senior proms and much more. The reputation is far from great, but students can really find their ability to succeed here."
