"that there is a lot of diversity and you get to express yourself without being judged by peers. when I started coming to vanguard, I was a very quiet kid and there was a ymca and I started going to their programs and after that, I became more social and started to express myself as a human being. When I was an 10th grader, I started to join student government"

"My experience at vanguard was good. What I like about it is that it is small so it's easy to fit in with other students from all grades. The principle William klann(Bill) is a great principle he is very nice and all the students are friendly with him. The teachers are very helpful they do everything they can to help their students succeed in a class. They have college prep classess for incoming freshmen for a semester which was really helpful for petaling for college. Overall it's a a good school."

"To really be prepared for College you must take full advantage of the programs affiliated with the school. If you trust the school to do it for you alone you may do well in the school it but you are not setting yourself for outside success."
