"Would not choose this district again if we could do it over. Upper-level principals are argumentative, poor leaders and communicators who do not work well with parents and who do not effectively promote the success of the children. There should be "incentive" programs, as there are in other districts. In addition, the overall "climate" of this district is not very classy. Parents dress like slobs, hoot and holler at cultural events. It's embarrassing. HIGH taxes and not receiving the value of education for the money we spend."

"Peer pressure and bullying exist - despite efforts to diminish these. Much more could be done to interest the students in becoming involved."

"Workload is extremely inconsistent. Some teachers consistently overload with homework - to the point where it becomes ineffective. Some teachers NEVER give ANY homework at all! Some teachers have peaks and valleys - depending on the time of year. There should be more after-school help available - not only the day before a quiz/test. Common core is a problem STATEWIDE. Also, honors classes should be encouraged more - not refused to children on the "borderline" willing to try to excel."

"SOME teachers are AMAZING! The rest do the bare minimum to collect their paycheck and it shows. More technology exposure is desperately needed. Foreign language is started way too late. MOST teachers do not know how to (or don't want to) comply with 504/IEP, plus Common Core has been a problem STATEWIDE. Communication is a consistent problem, with most teachers not using email. Also, everything is a "secret" - unless you push and push to get information."
