"At Brooklyn Lab School my experience has been great. The teachers are very caring, understanding, friendly, and they make you feel as a part of a family. They are there for you whenever you need help, and would do their best to help, support, and motivate you to do your best. I love my teachers. The school offers Saturday school, after school, ilearn, and summer school. I mostly love the diversity in the school. There are students from all over the world who speak different languages, have their own styles, traditions, religions, way of clothing, and different cultures, which allows for culture diffusion. Overall, I would love for the school to better help students who are foreign, immigrants, and do not speak english as their first language. Also, the new principal is doing his best to better the school's academic system. Hopefully, the students would soon get use to the new changes and begin to better their selves in school."

"My experience at Brooklyn Lab school was amazing. They have the best staffs. These staffs are very held to the student in ( BLS ). Every year the school get better, more kids are coming to school and more kids are graduating. Some thing I would change in the school is the activity's. Kids want more activities. But beside thT , I recommend kids go attend Brooklyn Lab school"

"My experience at my school so far, is one I will forever treasure. I've met phenomenal people in my school, which I've learned so much from. What makes our school unique is that we're a small school, our population probably doesn't even exceed 400-500 school wide, so everyone knows everyone, and also we're a school of all minorities. There is no discrimination against each other because we can all relate to each other's backgrounds and cultures. With an environment like ours, you can really nurture a school family, you can honestly be friends with everyone, there is no one left out of all the love. We are our own support system, and together, we are unstoppable, no one gets left behind because of what they can or can't do. If I had a choice to do it all again, I'd do everything exactly the same."

"I believe we have amazing teachers in our school. However, the fact that we are from a low income and priority school, and the format of teaching that the department of education want to see limit the resources they are able to use and also limit their creativity and flexibility when it comes to our learning environment. Because of the fact we are a low income and priority school, our principal forces all these programs on us that are supposed to help us, but in reality, are hurting us. An example of this is, is that in the following years, our school is taking up an AP class initiative, where everyone in the school, regardless of grade or academic background, is required to take AP classes. This means that everyone is doing college level work. Theoretically, it sounds like a grand idea for the seniors and juniors, who need to be prepared for this level of work, but what about the freshman and sophomores? They are still experiencing the transition into high school, which is stressful enough, but now they're expected to exceed in college level work, when not too long ago they were still doing simple middle school work. This and the overall stress of high school is enough to make a man with the most powerful will crumble. So just imagine what it can be doing to the students in our school. It can therefore be concluded that, our teachers are phenomenal mentors and friends, but the system of education that we are integrated in, is the reason why schools like ours are listed as priority schools."

"I don't like the fact that we are writing all the time. We aren't learning that much because we are being forced to write instead of learning."
