"Holland's culture is a joke. Nobody cares about improving the environment, the mascot is made fun of by everyone in town yet nobody will change it. General college prep is lacking immensely primarily because the guidance counselor is not involved in any of the kids' lives. The school guidelines are too strict on discipline mainly because the dean of students holds grudges on certain kids and takes out his anger of the kids no matter how minuscule the offense."

"My experience at Holland Juniro/Senior High School has been a crazy one. I first came to high school when I was in 8th grade, the reason for that is the Holland Middle School shut down and 7th and 8th graders got transfered to the high school. I personally think I have grown up much faster than a normal kid, seeming that Iwas placed in a high school a year earlier.Sure the 7th graders arent grown up yet, they still crowd the hallways with their high pitched voices and little pranks. Going to this high school, i have not had the privelage of going to a iverse campus. Small town means small school which means everyone knows each other. It's mostly an all white school and teachers thrive on the kids whos relatives attended. Holland Junior/Senior High School is a very different kind of high school that has allowed me to mature faster and learn that not everything in life is fair."

"We have some amazing teachers and some that should not be teaching at all!"

"Holland is a small school and is limited to programs that can be offered to students. The school is a little clicky, making it difficult for some students to fit in. The closing of the middle school was a negative impact to the majority of students."

"Holland has been great. The school is very spirited and it shows through all of the students school pride. Whether it is on a sports team or on stage the whole school comes together to support each other and represent the colors purple and gold."
