"What I like about B.A.V.P.A is how dedicated the teachers are to teaching kids. What I would like to see change is the different styles of music in their music department."

"I've been going to performing arts for six years, ever since seventh grade. As soon as I arrived there from North Park Middle School my grades dropped instantaneous. The teaching there was quiet different very fast pace, not enough room for understanding. As I progressed there from middle school I came to enjoy my major in music as a piano student, the arts is all around from dancing to communication major. I enjoyed my major well until my third year in high school which it seemed to me my academic grades were more important, also when things gotten a lot harder . As I'm coming to my last year I realize that this school should actually focus on more academic grades then your major simply because your major takes majority of your time . A good thing about performing arts with the fulfilling schedule it teaches you how to balance your social life, hobbies, and homework ."

"I am now a senior at this school. I have been here since freshman year, and I have built so many relationships with not only students, but with teachers. Despite where the school is placed, you feel very safe the moment you get into the building. On the cold winter mornings, you can go to the lunch room and warm up with a free hot chocolate! On hot summer days, you can have a picnic out in the court yard for lunch or take the scenic ways to your classroom by taking the courtyard! This is an arts school, so the walls are filled with paintings and murals done by current and past students! The hallways are filled with notes being sang from the vocal majors and on Fridays, the auditorium is filled with people to watch dance matinees. This school is very diverse, and you can learn so much from just befriending another student who is the complete opposite of you! The teachers become more like second parents too you, and the school becomes more like a second home to you."

"My favorite experience would have to be a musical I went to. The only thing thats makes this school unique is that every kid there has more talents beyond their major and think differently. I wouldnt choose this school if I could start over again because they care more about the graduation rate than the students if you understand what I mean"

"Only a few teachers are dedicated to their job. The rest are lazy and not patient at all. They rush through lessons and then expect all the students to understand the lesson."
