"The pros of this school are countless. Many of my teachers I had have pushed me to venture out of my comfort zone. His class was structured in a way that I had never seen before taking the class, but it has prepared me for college. What he did was, he would do labs and present powerpoints to give the student knowledge about the topic, but he was not going to give knowledge to those who were not going to try. Now do not get me wrong, he would help if you ever asked, but his thought was, he would give the students enough information to get a D or C on the chapter tests so they passed if they paid attention in class, but to get a B or A the student was expected to read and do the optional homework."

"As much as it's been stressful, it's also been equally as fun and an unforgettable experience to attend this school. I've been in this same district for my entire life, so I was already aware of how important education is to them. Going to football games in the fall were some of the liveliest times and you could feel every ounce of school spirit from the marching band to the players to the Rocket Rowdies in the bleachers. This school also has some of the kindest faculty members that you won't find elsewhere. Having a single conversation with any of them shows that they care about where you want to go in the future and strive to push you there. The biggest downside was the poor money distribution put towards heating and a/c. The weather here has extreme fluctuations throughout the year, so it's difficult to counter. I've made some of the best memories here and strengthened the bond with my closest friends. I hope that anyone else entering this high school enjoys it as much as I did."

"Slippery High school has a group of excellent teachers and has a great grasp on how to teach every subject group. The best attribute of the school is the academics and the teachers. The class of 2016 even received a Blue Ribbon award for outstanding academic achievement. Unfortunately Slippery Rock does have weaknesses. The student body is not diverse at all and the overall culture is hostile at times. Also, the administration is not very helpful when a bad situation arises. The administration enables a poor culture that the school embodies. Overall the school is an excellent academic school, but can be a hostile place to attend."

"Slippery Rock is a great school district. The teachers are very helpful and personal. Slippery Rock creates a good environment for learning, and a great atmosphere for students. They create a lot of events to get students active and interacting with each other. Slippery Rock also has some very strong sports teams and great coaches. To add Slippery Rock is a Blue Ribbon School with great academics. Overall it is a great school."

"I enjoy the fact that the school is small and everyone knows everyone, but is big enough for good funding. There are some rough areas about the school such as bullying and the school has an unfortunately high suicide rate."
