"Palmyra Area High School was a good school to be a part of during my high school years. The teachers truly work for you to succeed not just academically, but emotionally as well. The staff at PAHS are set apart because they go the extra mile for the students' sake. Students work together as a community, as shown by our annual fundraising efforts for the Four Diamonds Fund."

"My experience at the palmyra area senior high-school has been beyond phenomenal. Grade 9-12 have been a blast at phs. The teachers there are so nice and I truly wouldn't change anything about my experience there. I'm going to miss it there when I leave."

"Palmyra Area High School (PHS) is a very competitive school academically which is great because the school offers many AP and online courses and the district scores very highly on standardized tests, including AP exams. The competitive nature of the school is also a negative thing because even if a student gets a good grade (80% or higher) the student feels inadequate because the standard of what is "good" is much higher than the average school. The school has an interesting culture and the students are interesting individuals. One example of the culture is Toga Day for the Junior class. The day seniors leave the school the Juniors are now the new "rulers" so they dress up in togas to show it. One negative aspect of the culture is the lack of diversity among the student body. About 95% of the students are white, Christian/nonreligious students. The minorities of the school tend to feel isolated and out of place at times due to their being so few nonwhite students."

"I enjoy the sports games and musicals at this school. People put a lot of time and money into the athletic and music department. What's really nice is that we have added lots of half days for teachers but it also allows students to take some time off and have fun or get a project done or take a nap."

"I have been going to Palmyra for two years and it is the best school I have ever had the chance to be a part of. The teachers take great pride in knowing their students and making sure they succeed. The school offers many opportunities for students to get involved."
