"My four years at Mount Pleasant have been a wild ride, and I've been loving every second of it. How the faculty has raised me and nurtured me made a big impact on my life, not just as a student. All of my teachers, counselors, and friends made my memories of Mount very dear to me and I am going to miss these years indefinitely"

"Mount Pleasants administration is NOT there to help u along your academic or high school journey. They act more like dictators than admins. Yes, they are there to keep kids in line but it is not a prison. As a college student looking back I did not have an enjoyable high school experience. College is about finding urself and learning at the same time. They say high school is supposed to prepare u for college but Mount just prepares u for prison. A darn shame because most teachers are motivated. As for students, I feel the lack of interaction and separation between levels plus oppressive admins has made for a huge lack of school spirit. Spirit week is just sad.At mount I felt so dictated and opressed that I had no motivation to do well. Can t even use your phone at lunch? No breaks ever. As for college, I feel as if my independence has given me motivation to do well for myself. After receiving a 4.0 my first semester, i realized my experience at mount was hindering my academic work."

"I like how the teachers affect your everyday life. You develop good relationships with a lot of them and they make the school feel like a second home. They reach out and care for you and help you if you ask. As long as you put in effort and at least try along with your studies, the teachers will like you and you ll have a good time."

"What I liked the best about Mount Pleasant High School was the clubs and activities that I have come to love and enjoy. These groups helped me become the person who I am today and helped decide what I want to do for a career. What i would like to see change at this school is the lack of effort and consideration that some teachers and administration have towards students. This way the school can be a better environment for students to learn in."

At the school they help you to stay on your career path by assigning you classes that fix you."
