"As the parent of a middle schooler who has attended since PK, this school has played a huge role in the development of my child as a curious, intelligent, compassionate, empathetic and happy human being. It's a financial sacrifice but the greatest investment a parent could make!"

"We really wanted to love this school and we completely bought into the Quaker values. The problem is that the values are only in the brochure. Sure, they talk about Simplicity, Equality, Integrity, etc. But, does the vocal music teacher think making students cry is somehow part of Quaker ideals? Or the 6th-grade math teacher who has anger issues and throws things in class? Bullying and mean girl actions are rampant in middle school and the admin does nothing. I elect the new principal to be the head mean girl. She runs the school anyway, may as well give her the salary and the title. Not at all worth $30k. Get bullied in public school for free."

"There are many positive aspects to friends school, the majority of the teachers and students are caring and considering people. Where friends really falters is its administration which is disorganized and relaxed. This allows for many unfortunate circumstances that could be avoided to occur. I think the environment is accepting and the academics are challenging but this is all thanks to the students and most of the faculty."

"Blessed with a mother that works for Friends, my sister and I were fortunate enough to attend the school for 14 years each.Friends is where I found my best friends, teachers that I deeply respect and admire, and an environment, guided by the Quaker testimonies, that supported and cared for me in every capacity. While every student's experience is different, Friends is a second home to me and I wouldn't be who I am today had I gone elsewhere."

"Very accepting community. The main problem is that we talk about how to talk about things, but never actually follow through."
