"I like that Sparrows Point High school is a small community and everyone knows everyone. Since there are not a lot of students it is easy to develop good relationships with teachers and administrators."

"As a Pointer, I have been on 2 state championship soccer teams and 2 state finalist softball teams. My time as an athlete has helped me to always be prepared, be fit, be a leader and be a team player. All of these are qualities that are needed in life. Academically I have been challenged and that has helped my prepare for college. I loved being a Pointer!"

"Sparrows Point High school is a small school that is filled with big personalities. We are most famous for our sports department, after all 70% of the students are involved in a sport. This allows for a great sense of school spirit. Once can regularly see Students painted blue holding signs supporting our teams at school events. Our school also has a wide array of activities and clubs. Teachers are friendly and willing to help their students achieve greatness. There is a perfect balance of critical thinking, real world application, and healthy challenge within SPHS's academics. We are famous for our science magnet program known as SPECIES. This allows students to take specialized science courses to further their knowledge in the science field. Both the students and the staff of the school love Sparrows Point and any future student should defiantly consider this school for themselves."

"I like that Sparrows Point High School is a relatively laid back school. The teachers don't shower me with homework just for the sake of giving homework. Most of the homework i get is either unfinished classwork or things that will actually help develop my skills further. I also like that Sparrows Point partners with the Community College of Baltimore County. They allow high school students to take college classes that will give them the credit for high school and college. This has allowed me to rack up to 24 credits since my junior year."

"Sparrows Point High School is a wonderful educational center with teachers who care about their students and the surrounding community. I was able to complete high school with a high GPA due to the environment and how helpful they were."
