"Brunswick Academy has provided me an excellent education over the past twelve years. There are many advancements at my school like unlimited internet access and new laptops for students to use. There are many resources in the library like encyclopedias, dictionaries, and books for research. The only resource I feel Brunswick Academy should invest in is database sources. I feel school has prepared me for college. I had a seven point grading scale, which helped me work hard to achieve good grades. The English department is very strong and has really helped me with papers and SATs. The science program was struggling when I was younger but has now evolved with a great teacher. There are many clubs, sports, and extra-curricular activities to do during and after school and also an excellent gymnasium. There are a few problems with the dress code and a few faculty members. However, overall Brunswick Academy is a great school."

"The overall experience at Brunswick Academy is great, and there are very few changes I would like to see. The academics are very strong in the math and history departments, and the science department is steadily improving. The English department recently underwent a change of faculty, but the change seems to have gone smoothly. Many different electives are offered in a wide variety of fields including business, STEM, physical fitness, etc. There are a great deal of extracurricular activities that you can participate in. I do enjoy that there is a variety of academic and athletic extracurriculars, so there is something for everyone. The teachers all really care about their students and create a friendly learning environment. I feel very prepared for college after my years at Brunswick Academy. All in all, I am very pleased with the experience I have had at Brunswick Academy and greatly enjoyed my time there."

"When it comes to Brunswick Academy, I think the desire to help children learn is there to a certain degree. In the Upper School especially, some teachers have difficulty getting their point across in class, which can lead to some students suffering when it comes to test scores. There has been much innovation recently in the Upper School's science department, however, and many other subject areas are wonderful. Our Math, Science, English, and Latin are taught excellently, and the best programs offered at Brunswick Academy are included on the Honors track. If I were to change anything, it would be some of the teachers, for a handful of them are ineffective. All the Honors teachers, though, are fantastic."

"My son attended Brunswick Academy his Senior year...The teachers and staff was very helpful. Even some of the parents were very willing in helping my child adapt to a new school."

"BRUNSWICK ACADEMY HAS A SMALL FAMILY LIKE ATMOSPHERE. THE CURRICULUM CAN BE COLLEGE PREPARATION IF DESIRED. THEY HAVE FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS AND ALSO OFFER TUITION TO LOW INCOME STUDENTS. THERE ARE MANY ALUMNI LIKE MYSELF THAT HAVE SENT THEIR CHILDREN TO BA OR HAVE COME BACK TO TEACH. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM WITH SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE BE TREATED THE SAME AS WITH THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM."
